Course Map: 3M Half Marathon

Though the 3M Half Marathon course is definitely a hilly one, most of the hills are downhill in this point-to-point event, which descends from a peak elevation of nearly 900 feet above sea level near the start of the race to a low of just above 500 feet at the finish line. The course for the race starts in the northern part of the city on Stonelake Boulevard, and winds all the way south through the University of Texas campus to Congress Avenue and the finish line at the Texas Capital square, just near Austin’s signature state capitol building.
