Runners follow an out-and-back course at West Union’s Adams County Half Marathon, which starts and finishes in front of Miller’s Furniture on Wheat Ridge Road. From there, the race unfolds along the hills of Wheat Ridge and Unity Roads, past Amish farmland and several schools, where local kids will be on hand to hand out water and refreshments to participants as they run by.
