From the starting line along the northern edges of Westminster City Park, runners in the half marathon follow an out-and-back route that begins by heading southwest along the winding Big Dry Creek. Once runners reach the first turnaround point, just before the trail reaches Westcliff Parkway, they head northeast back along the route they’ve just run, all the way to North Westminster and Big Dry Creek Park.
