From the starting line at Tibble Fork, runners head down into the canyon along American Fork Canyon Road, through the Wasatch Mountains that border the Salt Lake City area. You’ll get to see stunning views of the nearby North and Box Elder peaks along this stretch of the race, which follows a gradual descent from just below 6,400 feet above sea level at the start, down to about 4,700 feet by the time runners reach the race finish line at Art Dye Park.
