Officially titled the Skinny Raven Half Marathon, the Anchorage RunFest 13.1-miler follows an out-and-back course that starts and finishes near Humpy’s Ale House on 6th Avenue in downtown Anchorage. From there, the course winds through downtown and then onto the Coastal Trail that overlooks Cook Inlet, and then onto the Chester Creek Trail, which runs past Westchester Lagoon and heads out to the turnaround point at Goose Lake and back.
