Runners follow an out-and-back course through the base at Fort McLellan’s ARC McLellan Park Medical Mall “Half Naked” Half Marathon, which starts and finishes at the medical mall on Town Center Drive within the base. From there, the race — which is called “half naked” because no trophies or medals are awarded — takes runners on a looping route along tree-lined streets to the half-way turnaround point, and then back to the starting line for the race finish.
