Runners start all three races in the event at the city’s Rancho Simi Community Park, near the intersection of Royal Avenue and Erringer Road. From there, runners head out on an out-and-back route that takes them first eastward along the Arryoy Simi Bike Path toward its easternmost point, which nearly reaches Rancho Santa Susana Community Park. After reaching the first turnaround point, runners then head back along the route they’ve just run.
