Runners start the double-loop, out-and-back course for the Bay Ridge Half Marathon next to the Bay Ridge Pier, at the intersection of Bay Ridge Avenue and Shore Parkway. From there, they’ll run along the Shore Road Promenade for the entire race, heading out from the starting line to the turnaround point, at about 3.25 miles. Then they’ll turn around and head back to the start, where they’ll run the same loop a second time before crossing the finish line at the American Veterans Memorial Pier.
