Runners will make their way along the 13.75-mile-long Millennium Trail inside Kentucky’s Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest at this race, which at 14 miles is a bit longer than the typical 13.1-mile half marathon distance. The trail is filled with beautiful runs through the woods of Bernheim, through oak hickory and beech-maple forests, with lots of difficult stretches over creek crossings, up steep slopes and over a few roads.
