Runners follow an out-and-back course for the half marathon at Florida’s Best Damn Race, which starts and finishes at the Safety Harbor marina. From there, the race starts out by heading north along Bayshore Boulevard, for a roughly 2-mile-long out-and-back stretch to Philippe Park, and then back into town along several city streets and a long stretch past Alligator Lake. The second half of the race features a long loop along the Ream Wilson Trail, followed by the home stretch north along Bayshore Boulevard back to the marina for the race finish.
