The Blueberry Cove Half Marathon course — which organizers say shows off “the real Maine” — takes runners on an out-and-back route that begins at Blueberry Cove Camp on Blueberry Cove Road. From there, the race heads out into the rural back rounds in and around Tenants Harbor, a small village near St. George here in midcoast Maine, and winds along roads with views of the ocean crashing against the beaches and rocky shorelines. The second half of the course brings runners into town, as the course passes near the fishing boats of Port Clyde, where you’ll get to see the Marshall Point Light House.
