Runners start the Buffalo Half Marathon route downtown at the corner of Franklin and Chippewa Streets, and from there head north along Franklin until they reach Lafayette Avenue, where they’ll turn left and run past Forest Lawn Cemetery and Delaware Park. Later stretches bring them along the Frederick Law Olmstead-designed series of linear parks along the city’s lakefront, before crossing the finish line next to Niagara Square.
