Runners follow an out-and-back course that starts and finishes along the eastern edge of Bald Eagle Lake, and then takes the field on a largely fast and flat course that ranges from a low of about 910 feet above sea level to a peak elevation of about 950 feet over the race’s 13.1 miles. Much of the race takes runners along the shoreline of Bald Eagle Lake and Otter Lake, with stretches through the neighborhoods just north of the lakes.
