Runners follow and out-and-back Y-shaped course for the half marathon, which like the 5K starts and finishes on Michigan Ave in front of the Lansing Center. From there, runners make their way on the Lansing River Trail, where the entire course takes place. They’ll make their way through Scott Woods Park, Hawk Island Park, and Potter Park while going on a tour of Lansing. The terrain for the course is almost all paved surfaces throughout the River Trail, along a mix of tree-lined paved pathways and pedestrian bridges.
