Runners follow a looping, winding trail route through the forest in Carter Caves State Resort Park, starting at the Fraley Amphitheatre inside the park. From there, the race winds along park trails that run through rock overhangs and bridges and past several of the park’s best-known caves, along a course that organizers say is “challenging” and designed for runners “who have previously competed in more advanced trail running events.”
