The Chicago Half Marathon course follows an out-and-back that starts and finishes at Jackson Park, next to the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, and then takes runners for the first couple of miles around the perimeter of the park, along Cornell Avenue, Stony Island Drive and Marquette Drive. Next, the course then turns northward for the next stretch of the race, a four-mile-long stretch that unfolds along Lake Shore Drive toward Burnham Park. Once runners hit the turnaround at Burnham Park, they head back to Jackson Park for the race finish.
