Course Map: Chickamauga Battlefield Half Marathon

Runners in both the half and the full marathon share the same starting line at the 6th Cavalry Museum near the visitor center at the northern end of the park. From there, the race route follows an out-and-back loop that winds in a roughly clockwise direction through the park, giving runners ample views of the more than 1,000 memorials, cannons and monuments that commemorate the Battle of Chickamauga, one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War.
