Runners follow an out-and-back route that starts and finishes downtown at the University Hospitals Sports Medicine Cleveland Half Marathon, beginning in front of The Mall, the public park along St. Clair Avenue Northeast, just blocks from the shore of Lake Erie. From there, you’ll run through parts of downtown, the Cleveland State University campus district, along the edges of the Scranton Peninsula overlooking the Cuyahoga River, Duck Island and more landmarks of the city, like the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum.
