Runners follow an out-and-back course for the Colorado Springs Half Marathon, which starts and finishes at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum. From there, you’ll head toward America the Beautiful Park before continuing north (and uphill) on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail through Monument Valley Park and then north past the Old North End neighborhood before turning around and retracing your steps downhill toward the finish line.
