Each Down 2 Earth Cross Country trail half marathon scheduled for this year takes runners along the single- and double-track trails that wind through Hialeah’s Amelia Earhart Park. Named for the famous female pilot, the park’s 91 acres feature plenty of rolling hills, roots and dirt trails as well as some sections with gravel and brief stretches of paved surfaces.
