Runners follow a loop course around Eau Claire, starting on the Madison Street bridge with north and south views of the Chippewa River. From there, runners follow a clockwise loop through the city, across a combination of paved park trails and city streets for most of the race. The half marathon route features eight bridge crossings over water, and runs along the banks of the Eau Claire River for long stretches as well as through parts of the city’s downtown.
