Runners start the point-to-point course for the half marathon on the frontage road near the golf course, and from there they follow the roadways into East Canyon and then into Emigration Canyon, making their way through Mountain Dell Canyon, Little Tree Hill and Rattlesnake Point on their way toward the finish line. The race features paved surfaces throughout, and features its biggest hill between the start and Little Mountain.
