Course Map: Essex Half Marathon

Runners follow an out-and-back course along the rolling country roads at the Essex Half Marathon, which starts and finishes at this small northern Vermont town’s high school. From there, the course heads north along Old Colchester Road and onto Gentes Road, all the way north to Colchester Pond, where the course heads south along Curve Hill and Lost Nation Road. Runners finish the race back at the high school, where they make a loop around the track before crossing the finish line. (MORE: Essex Half Marathon event details)
