Runners start the out-and-back course for the half marathon at the Port Gardner Landing, near the Puget Sound Naval Station Complex, and follow the race route all the way north to nearby Marysville and back. Along the way, runners will cross over bridges that span tributaries of the Snohomish River, including two long straightaway stretches along Washington’s Yellow Ribbon Highway.
