Run through the North End area of this southern Massachusetts city near the border with Rhode Island, the Fall River Half Marathon takes runners on an out-and-back course that starts on Airport Road in the parking lot of BK’s Tavern. From there, runners head out on what is roughly a north-south run past the Fall River Municipal Airport and a long, out-and-back stretch near Watuppa Pond along Riggenbach Road and Meridian Street before heading back to Airport Road for the finish.
