For the half marathon race, runners follow a point-to-point course that starts at Discovery Park near the southwestern end of Luck Peak Lake and then heads northwest, along the parks and trails that run alongside the Boise River just north of town, crossing over bridges and featuring scenic views of the tree-lined trails along the water. Runners cross the race finish line in Ann Morrison Park.
