Runners start the First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon near downtown’s Municipal Auditorium, just off 10th Street overlooking the Sarasota Bay. The race features a fast and flat out-and-back loop course, which takes place along paved roads throughout the city, past Sarasota’s scenic museum grounds and over the Ringling Bridge, much of which unfolds along the water as runners make their way along the Sarasota Bay.
