Runners follow an out-and-back course that runs alongside the winding Boise River at the Fit for Life Half Marathon, which starts at Hawks Memorial Stadium, just off Glenwood Street, and take runners southward and eastward along the Boise River Greenbelt trail. Once runners make it to the turnaround point in Julia Davis Park, across the river from the campus of Boise State University, they head back along the route they’ve just run, back to the stadium for the race finish.
