Runners follow a point-to-point course with a long run along the Gulf beaches at the Florida Holiday Halfathon, which starts on Madeira Beach and finishes at Taylor Lake in nearby Largo. From the starting line on Municipal Drive, runners first head north along the shoreline, through Redington Beach, North Redington Beach and Redington Shores, until they reach the intersection with Park Boulevard, where they head east along Park and then Oakhurst toward Seminole City Park.
