From the starting line in Old Mill Park, the Blue & Gray Half Marathon course follows a multi-loop course through the city, taking runners first along the Heritage Trail and through downtown Fredericksburg. The course is mostly flat with the exception of tackling Fall Hill (and then running back down Fall Hill again) during the middle section of the race.
