Runners start the out-and-back course for the Front Porches Half in front of the Waypoint Center in Bellows Falls, and from there head west along Route 121 toward the nearby village of Saxtons River. Along the way, you’ll pass through the campus of Vermont Academy and the Saxtons River Inn, as well as plentiful homes with beautiful front porches, before running over the Hall Bridge and down a dirt road named Barber’s Park Road. Then it’s back onto Route 121 for the return stretch to the finish line back at the Waypoint Center.
