Runners are set to follow an out-and-back course for the race that starts and finishes at Gear West Cross Country Ski and Run on Wayzata Boulevard, along the lakeshore from which the town gets its name. From there, runners will head out onto the roads and gently rolling hills of surrounding Hennepin County, along a course that’s designed to be fast. The course will head south from Gear West and make two four-mile loops before heading back for the race finish.
