Runners star the half marathon route at the Greater Midland Dow RunWalk along East Collins Street, next to Midland’s Central Park. From there, the race makes two laps around the city, criss-crossing through neighborhoods around Barstow Woods Park and Currie Bennett Park and through the heart of town, before bringing runners in to the finish line on Mill Street. Most of the course is fast and flat; the only hills to speak of occur in the stretches through Rodd, George and State Streets.
