Runners start the out-and-back course for the half marathon near the Wanoga Sno-Park near Deschutes, just off Cascade Lakes Highway and just outside Bend, Oregon. From there, the course weaves along roads and trails through the forests and buttes toward Wangoa Butte and Kiwa Springs, and then back to the Wanoga Sno-Park for the race finish.
