Runners follow a long, gradual downhill point–to-point route from Pine Ridge to Auberry, Calif., at the Heavenly Half, which starts at Cressman’s General Store along Tollhouse Road in Pine Ridge. From there, they’ll follow Auberry Road downhill for nearly the entire race, descending from about 4,600 feet above sea level all the way down to just under 2,000 feet by the time you reach the finish line in Auberry, at Auberry Elementary School.
