Called simply the “Heber Half,” this 13.1-miler is set to take runners on a course that starts and finishes at Sandy Beach on Greers Ferry Lake, just west of downtown Heber Springs. Runners can expect the hilliest portion of the course around the half-way point, as runners are heading toward the midpoint of the race on Bittle Road and Big Dike Road. There’s also a hill in the final three miles, as runners head back to Sandy Beach for the race finish.
