Runners will encounter a fast and mostly flat course through the park roads and trails of the Roaring Creek Tract of eastern Pennsylvania’s Weiser State Forest at the third annual running of the Hellbender Half Marathon & 5K. Located in Bear Gap, Pennsylvania — which lies about a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Philadelphia — the park’s 9,000 acres feature a combination of lakes and forest roads and trails that runners will trek across for the 13.1-mile race.
