Runners follow a point-to-point course largely along the trails that surround Lake Fayetteville and the trails alongside Scull Creek at the Hero Half Marathon, which starts at the Lokomotion Family Fun Park on College Avenue. From there, the course makes a counter-clockwise loop around the lake before heading back towards the starting line, and then west alongside Clear Creek. Next, you’ll turn south just past mile 8, and follow the next 5 miles all the way to the finish line at the Walton Arts Center.
