Runners follow an loop course around the city at the Hogeye Half Marathon, which starts and finishes along Emma Avenue, overlooking Spring Creek. From there, runners head out on a clockwise route through the city, portions of which take runners past Friendship Cemetery and within sight of Lake Fayetteville, before heading back to Springdale for the race finish back on Emma Avenue.
