From the start and finish line at Atlanta’s Turner Field, the home of baseball’s Atlanta Braves, runners follow an out-and-back course that takes them through the city’s downtown and Midtown neighborhoods, as well as through historic areas like Cabbagetown and the Sweet Auburn district, and Piedmont Park and the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Runners should expect plenty of hills through the city, as Atlanta’s terrain features plenty of them.
