Runners follow a point-to-point course for the Jackson Hole Half Marathon, which starts in Teton Village and finishes in Jackson’s Phil Baux Park. Over the first half of the race, the course follows a long, steady downhill descent until runners reach the mile 8 marker, where the course gets hillier along the Teton Pass Highway. The final couple of miles of the race turn uphill as they bring runners into Jackson for the race finish.
