Course Map: Juneau Half Marathon

Runners start the out-and-back course for the Juneau Half Marathon (formerly the Douglas Island Half Marathon at the Frank Maier Marathon) in Savikko Park on Douglas Island, which lies just south of Juneau, and from there head along the northern edge of the island on the Douglas Highway, overlooking the Juneau Channel. With the exception of some rolling hills along the course, most of the race is relatively flat, thanks to the fact that it is run nearly at sea level. (MORE: Juneau Half Marathon event details)
