Runners follow a loop course through the city at the Kansas City Half Marathon presented by Garmin, which starts and finishes at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, next to Frank A. Theis Park. From there, you’ll encounter more than two dozen of this city’s famed fountains, and runners should expect an occasionally hilly and often challenging route through the city, which takes runners on a clockwise loop before returning to the museum.
