One of Colorado’s oldest running events, Silverton’s Kendall Mountain Run takes runners from an elevation of just over 9,300 feet above sea level at the starting line in town, on a climb of over 3,700 feet to the summit of Kendall Mountain, which lies at just over 13,000 feet above sea level. From there, the race route heads back down the mountain to Silverton, where the race finishes in Memorial Park.
