Runners start the out-and-back course for Cortland’s Leaf Peeper Half Marathon at Yaman Park, which lies on the northeastern edge of the city. From there, the race route takes runners out of the park and alongside the banks of the Tioughnioga River all the way to the half-way turnaround point on East River Road, and then back to the park for the race finish.
