From the starting line at Old Mission Peninsual School, you’ll follow the half marathon route for the first couple of miles on trails through private property, past groves of trees and farm fields until you make it to Devil’s Dive Road and Peninsula Township Park. There, you’ll make the turn onto Peninsula Drive, which will take you along the shoreline of the Grand Traverse Bay for the next 10 to 11 miles, all the way south until you reach the finish line in Clinch Park. The race is organized as part of the National Cherry Festival which takes place all throughout the week leading up to the race.
