Course Map: Monkey Face Half Marathon

The Monkey Face Half Marathon course takes runners on an out-and-back route that starts and finishes just outside Terrebonne in Smith Rock State Park, one of central Oregon’s best-known parks for rock-climbing, hiking and camping. The race takes its name from the park’s rock pillar known as “Monkey Face,” and there runners will make a pair of counter-clockwise loops for the half marathon, which climbs more than 900 feet between the start and the mile 2 marker.
