Runners are set to follow an out-and-back route at the Nike Women’s Half Marathon DC, which starts and finishes in front of the National Archives near the corner of 9th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. From there, the course takes runners past the U.S. Capitol building, the National Gallery, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, the Jefferson Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, back and forth across the Potomac River over the Arlington Memorial Bridge, and down to Hains Point before heading back to the race finish. (Please note the mileage shown below is due to slight errors in the mapping software; the race will be 13.1 miles.)
