Made up of mostly fast and flat terrain along the park trails and city streets of this small Louisiana city that lies just across Lake Ponchartrain from New Orleans, the course for the Northshore Half Marathon starts and finishes with the tree-covered park roads and trails through Fontainebleau State Park, and also features a roughly mile-long stretch along the shoreline of the lake through downtown Mandeville.
