Course Map: Oak Barrel Half Marathon

The Oak Barrel Half Marathon course starts at the Lynchburg Courthouse Square, and runners will finish the race just a short stretch up Highway 55, at the Jack Daniels Distillery. In between the start and the finish, runners follow an out-and-back course that takes them both through the town of Lynchburg and along the tree-lined rural country roads that surround the town. Runners can expect the biggest hills between miles 4 and 5, as they’re running up Goose Branch Road. (MORE: Oak Barrel Half Marathon event details)
